چکیده

N THE SEARCH for an accurate, rapid, versatile micromethod for chloride determination attention was focused on the simple but interesting dissimilar electrodes of Clark (1). Cunningham and coworkers (2) adapted these electrodes to measure 0-1 sMol of chloride with an error of less than 1 per cent. The chloride in a solution of sulfuric acid was titrated with standardized silver nitrate. The end point was detected with a sensitive galvanometer which measured the current produced by the dissimilar electrodes when the first excess of silver appeared. Unfortunately, the time for equilibration after addition of each increment of silver nitrate was 30 seconds, which prolonged the time for an entire analysis. This problem has been overcome by using a special titrating table which makes equilibrium possible in 2 to 3 seconds after each addition of silver. A special electrical circuit and a Scholander (4) microburet enhance both accuracy and speed (5).

Determination of chloride in blood serum, plasma, or other biologic fluids by a new rapid precision method.

NEW, RAPID, SENSITIVE, AND ACCURATE method for determination of chloride was recently developed and described (1) which eliminates many difficulties inhereiit in other procedures. This method, called the precision null-point potentiometric method, can be applied for accurate determinations of chloride over a wide concentration range, as low as 10 M. and as high as necessary if the sample can be...

Determination of Methotrexate in Biological Fluids and a Parenteral Injection Using Terbium-Sensitized Method

A new sensitive, simple and rapid method for determination of methotrexate (MTX) was developed based on quenching effects of MTX on the fluorescence intensity of Tb3+-1,10-phenanthroline complex. The fluorescence intensity was measured with excitation wavelength of 300 nm and emission wavelength of 545 nm and the quenched fluorescence intensity is proportional to the concentration of MTX in Tris...

Electrometric titration of copper and zinc in biologic material.

C OLORIMETRIC ANALYSIS has been employed extensively in determination of copper and zinc in human serum and other biologic materials. Greenleaf (1) and Callan and Henderson (2) determined copper colorimetrically using dithizone and diethyldithiocarbamate, respectivelv. Zinc was determined colorinietricallv by Fischer and Leopoldi (4) and by Wolf (5), using dithizone. These procedures were evalu...

تولید آنتی بادی منوکلونال در موش علیه مورفین بدون واکنش متقاطع با هرویین

Introduction: Immunoassay procedures for detecting and determining opioids in blood and other biologic fluids are based on Monoclonal antibodies. In the present study, monoclonal antibody against Morphine was taken into account. Methods: Hybridoma protocol was used in order to produce the monoclonal antibody against morphine in mice. For this purpose, five 6–8-week old female BALB/c mice were...
